Ibuku...Rumahku

This work potrays an ibu whose body takes the shape of a house, with children living safely inside. Through this playful image, the mother becomes more than a person, she becomes a place of comfort, protection, and belonging. 

For many children, a mother is their first home. not only a place to return to, but a space where they feel safe, loved, and understood. Through humor and warmth, the work celebrates the idea that sometimes, home is not a place at all. It is an ibu.
